Wolfsthal, Department of Energy, Office of Nuclear Nonproliferation, marks the official
restart of RERTR Program efforts to develop advanced LEU fuels with uranium densities
greater than the currently-qualified value of 4.8 g/cm3. Funding for the first year of
work has been received at ANL, equipment is being procured for use at the Argonne-West
site in Idaho, and work is underway.
